On Mac you can also drag the icon onto your App dock (which is usually at the bottom of your screen), and on Windows you can right click on the icon and pin it to your taskbar (which is also usually at the bottom of your screen). Once you have Google Chrome installed on your computer, locate the app icon and click and drag it onto your desktop.
